Personal comments
by the composer:
"Many people got confused, why I devided BLACK SWAN into two
volumes, but the answer is simple: Vol.1 was completely done in Germany and Vol.2 was done
in Australia. This album was produced over a period of 3 years and this explaines also why
this CD is my most unusual one. Firstly i worked with many different musicians, which
introduced new musical influences to my music and secondly I was looking for new
directions as well. When I was in Sydney in 1993 I actually planned to release a CD called
METROPOLIS, but I wasn't happy with the end product. So BLACK SWAN is a mixture of my
favourite tracks from METROPOLIS and new compositions which I made in Germany in 1995.
